Brett and Jessica, Silver City Farm Wedding

Ok, lets be honest, this was one of the most difficult and challenging weddings that I have ever shot!  Jessica and Brett's ceremony was supposed to be outside at the beautiful Silver City Farm.  Mother Nature, however, had other plans.  It rained and rained and rained ALL DAY.  Every time we found a great place under shelter to shoot, tables and chairs and all kinds of things were moved into the background in order to get them out of the rain.  Most of my day was spent shooting in the rain while my poor assistant held an umbrella over my head.
I was so worried that Jessica would be upset and disappointed with the rain and worse, with me.  I really had no worries there.  She held up great and just went with it! There were a lot of life lessons learned that day.
Needless to say, the ceremony was move inside to the saloon at Silver City Farm. It turned out to be such a romantic and cozy wedding.  The sound of the rain on the tin roof and the vows being taken in front of the fire in the fireplace was magical!! As you can see by the photos, the rain did nothing to lessen the love and beauty of this wedding.  Congratulations Brett and Jessica, I know you are going to have a wonderful life and keep dancing in the rain!!
