Ryan and Lauren met over a drink and "Saved by the Bell"! I just wonder how many engagements have come out of that show. They soon fell in love and found out that they have many things in common such as a love for games. One of their favorite things to do is have game night at their house. On one of those nights when a few of Ryans friends were in town, he surprised Lauren with a card that read, "Will you marry me"? On one of the hottest days of the year we met at Foxhall resort and sporting club, which is also their wedding venue, to shoot their beautiful engagement session.
I met Ryan when he was 13 years old when his Dad coached a baseball team that he and my son were on. He has turned in to a wonderful young man and he and Lauren were such a delightful couple to work with and are so easy and happy with each other. Out of all the wedding photographers in our area that they could have chosen, I am so humbled that Ryan remembered me. I can't wait to photograph their wedding next Spring!
